Prussian

(Danzig-Crystal Downs by Alleged)

Prussian broke his maiden at Saratoga in 2007 going 8.5f over the turf in 1:42.68 winning by 6 3/4 lengths. He followed this up by winning the Summer Stakes at Woodbine going 8f over the turf in 1:35.26. Prussian was a favorite going into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Monmouth, but had a bad run in the extreme weather and muddy conditions. In 2008 he was 2nd in the G3 Hill Prince S.  After taking a break over the winter Prussian has returned to training under the expert care of Mike Mitchell.
