Prussian
(Danzig-Crystal Downs by Alleged)
Prussian broke his maiden at Saratoga in 2007 going 8.5f over the turf in
1:42.68 winning by 6 3/4 lengths. He followed this up by winning the
Summer Stakes at Woodbine going 8f over the turf in 1:35.26. Prussian was
a favorite going into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Monmouth, but had
a bad run in the extreme weather and muddy conditions. He came out of the
race with a manageable injury and recovered at Monticule. In January
2008 Prussian returned to training under the expert care of Bill Mott.
