Mien is the dam of the winner, Snake River Canyon. Mien is also the dam of the 2008 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, Big Brown. As of 2009 she has a yearling filly by Touch Gold and a weanling filly by Belong To Me. In 2008 Mien was bred to Stormy Atlantic. For 2009 she is booked to English and Irish classic winner, Henrythenavigator. 

Mien was a winner at 3 and retired from racing to become a broodmare in 2004.
