He won his first race as a 2-yr-old going 7f over the turf. He won by 1 1/4 lengths and his time was 1:25.00. Dijeer then ran in two stakes races. He placed in the Somerville Tattersall Stakes and then won the Stan Harris Hill Stakes going 7f over the turf in 1:30.60. In the winter of 2009 he is racing in Dubai.
